A summer wedding on the banks of Loch Lomond
Cameron House wedding photography is always a huge amount of fun and Eilidh and Kenny’s wedding last August was no different. It’s one of those wedding venues that never disappoints! I have photographed a few weddings there of varying sizes and in different seasons and the setting by the loch and the way the staff look after everyone (including the photographer!) is always fantastic – the place provides a wonderful canvas for a romantic and fun-filled wedding day.
Ceremony at Luss Church
I started the day with Eilidh and her bridesmaids while they were getting ready at the hotel before the whole wedding party headed off to Luss Church for a very beautiful and wonderfully entertaining ceremony. Luss attracts a large amount of tourists on any Saturday in August and Eilidh’s arrival had them all gathering around the walls of the churchyard to try and catch a glimpse of the beautiful bride and her bridesmaids being led into the church by the piper, splendid in full highland ceremonial dress.
Natural unposed Cameron House wedding photography
Once we’d returned to Cameron House I took some family group photos before spending 15 minutes or so with Eilidh and Kenny to capture some natural portraits before they were back in the thick of friends and family celebrating their wonderful day.
I keep the staged pictures to a minimum – it’s the natural, candid and unposed shots that I love to concentrate on. It means you have more time to spend with your loved ones and I have more opportunity to capture the real authentic moments which create the real and authentic memories. I want your pictures to trigger memories of how the love and warmth of your nearest and dearest made you feel on your wedding day, rather than how much time you spent with the photographer.
KIND WORDS FROM EILIDH & KENNY
[/vc_column]
Ashley you put your heart and soul into our wedding on the 14th August this year and we can’t thank you enough. You were there ready for every moment and sometimes I forgot you were there as you were so discrete and we loved that. Can’t wait to see the pictures as I’m sure they will be amazing with the amount of work you put into them. Thanks, Mr & Mrs Goodwin x
