This is my wedding photography blog section.

Below you’ll find many of the weddings I have photographed over the years. It’s a varied collection. From local Scottish weddings in the Village Hall opposite my front door, to the grand surroundings of St Paul’s Cathedral in London.

I’ve been photographing weddings professionally for 10 years. But I’ve been making my living as a professional photographer for over 25 years in photojournalism. So it’s my full time job, the only career I’ve had, which means I give my clients 100% of my attention 100% of the time.

As I hope you’ll see from these wedding photography blog posts, my documentary approach is all about the real memories and keeping it simple. In other words, it’s the things that actually happen during the course of a wedding day not a whole series of poses. Nothing is directed or staged for the camera.

The skill I’ve been developing and improving throughout my career is to watch and anticipate. I use light and composition to make beautiful images. Pictures that you will return to time and again, each time seeing something different. They will hold the memories safe for you to revisit again and again for the rest of your lives together.
