MY 2017 FAVOURITES – 100 WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHS
Getting back into the studio now that Christmas is over and the Hogmanay hangover is a hazy memory, my thoughts turn to the year ahead. 2017 favourites – it’s a good moment to reflect on what a great Christmas break it’s been and what a fantastic year it turned out to be. Here’s a video of some of my favourite photos of the year and below that some highlights of my Christmas holidays. Hope you had a great year topped off with a great Christmas too!!
HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS
Ho Ho Ho Your Boat.
We were staying at Loch Ard for Christmas and had a brilliant expedition across the loch to get the Christmas Tree. The kids thought this was the coolest thing ever and it got the holidays off to a very exciting start for them.
Old habits die hard for me and even though I took the photo on my phone I thought it was good enough for a seasonal picture in the paper so I offered it to the Sunday Telegraph who published it on Christmas Eve.
The Loony Dook
For Hogmanay we headed east to stay with friends near Gullane and what better way to clear the head on 1 January than to take a chilly dip in the Firth of Forth! We were slightly further down the coast than the main event at South Queensferry but the fancy dress moustache was the least of my worries after taking the plunge.
So, refreshed and invigorated from a wonderful Christmas break, 2018 is shaping up to be another corker! I’ve got loads of plans for the year ahead and hope to see you through the viewfinder at some point very soon. Happy New Year everyone!!!
