Here we are – it’s that time of year again! It doesn’t seem like more than a few weeks ago I was packing up my gear and heading off to Prestonfield House in Edinburgh for my first wedding of 2016.
And now with Christmas fast approaching, it’s a time of year that I love to grab a coffee and a mince pie, put my feet up and look back at all the pictures – and there’s quite a lot of them! My favourite shots are often completely different to the ones I originally liked and I always see something new in the images as I look back with a fresh eye.
Seeing them again triggers memories of the feelings and emotions I felt while listening to the vows or laughing at the speeches and they bring back to life all the little moments which I have had to privilege to witness and document as the year progressed.
So it’s a huge thank you to all the couples who entrusted me to do the honours for them in 2016 and a message to all my 2017 couples – can’t wait!
