Debbie & Paul's Blythswood Hotel wedding photographer
I was absolutely delighted when I got the call to be Debbie and Paul’s Blythswood Hotel wedding photographer.
I have shot quite a few weddings at this classic Glasgow venue and it never fails to impress. The atmospheric lighting and grandeur of the entrance and lobby provide a great canvas for my documentary wedding photography.
Debbie and Paul’s day was filled with laughter and happiness as well as a few tears of emotion for those that aren’t with them anymore.
After a very relaxed morning spent with the girls as they got ready in one of the rooms upstairs, the ceremony went like clockwork.
The sun then came out for a quick photo of all the guests on the front steps. I had to stand in the road and block the traffic for a few seconds to get the shot. A Glasgow taxi driver took the opportunity to entertain everyone by pretending to run me over…. he did have me worried for a brief moment!!!
Anyway, it was a lovely day all round with fabulous food and great speeches. I left the wedding as everyone was settling in for the evening festivities once I had photographed Debbie and Paul’s first dance and some great live music which some of the guests contributed to.
