Charlotte and Richard's Ardanaiseig Wedding Photography
As wedding locations go, Charlotte and Richard chose a combination that was pretty hard to beat. Remote, rugged and romantic, St Conan’s Kirk perches above Loch Awe. A few miles around the loch shore sits Ardanaiseig with sweeping lawns and mesmerizing views….. Argyll’s mountain skyline is laid out before you.
Church ceremony in the historic St Conan's Kirk
After spending the morning with Richard and then Charlotte, the various wedding parties headed off to church. The autumn sun had burnt off the morning mist and we were all set for a gorgeous day. St Conan’s Kirk is an eccentric blend of different architectural styles and in true Victorian romantic style contains a little fragment of bone from Robert the Bruce… apparently, although I couldn’t find it!
Documentary Wedding Photography on the banks of Lochawe
Here are some of my favourite shots from a wonderful day when two very special families came together. I’m really excited to say that I’m going to be seeing them all again next summer for the wedding of Charlotte’s sister Rosie down in Hertfordshire – can’t wait!
