BRIDGET & CHRIS’S MANSFIELD TRAQUAIR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Bridget and Chris found me for their Mansfield Traquair Wedding photography through a recommendation by the venue. It’s a place I love to work because of the architecture, the lighting, the atmosphere and also the approach of the couples it attracts.

We’d met up in 2016 for their engagement shoot and chatted through all the plans. The time we spent together that day gave me an inkling of how the wedding would pan out and that Bridget and Chris would be great to work with. What our conversation didn’t do was give me any idea of the depth and character of the amazing wedding that was to materialize!

Fast forward to July 2017

There was a wonderful intensity to the day which was generated by the strength of love and warmth radiating from family and friends. It was a truly international wedding with Bridget and Chris coming from New York and many of their guests flying in from the four corners of the globe.

The fact that so many had travelled so far really contributed to the sense of occasion. This was partly responsible for the heightened atmosphere. Bridget and Chris’s attention to detail and the choices they’d made about how they wanted their day to go was also a big factor in why this day was so special.

Fun excitement and Emotion

I felt very privileged to be the man on the inside. Hopefully the photos below will give you a sense of the fun, excitement and emotion that spilled over at so many stages of the day.
