Broxmouth Park Wedding in the sunshine
This Broxmouth Park Wedding started for me with the sound of shotguns firing. Shotgun wedding? Not today! It was Craig and his groomsmen shooting some clays while Nic and her bridesmaids were getting ready in the main house.
The couple had planned for an outside ceremony and the weather was pretty much perfect for Nic and Craig. I was glad to see the chairs being set out on the lawn in the bright East Lothian sunshine.
Hand-made dress
The wedding was full of many creative and personal touches topped off by Nic’s beautiful wedding dress which had been hand-made by her amazing mum. Quite a responsibility for anyone and it soon became obvious what a lovely and wonderfully close relationship they shared.
It was a very emotional and fun filled day with the many friends and family entering into the spirit of a classic summer wedding by having a brilliant party.
Evening party under a warm clear night sky
The marquee at a Broxmouth Park wedding is brilliantly placed opposite the house so the day naturally flows from one stage to the next. Nic and Craig had decorated it beautifully and it made a great setting for the evening celebrations with the guests spilling out onto the gravel drive and striped lawns in the clear warm night.
Nic and Craig’s Broxmouth Park wedding really was a wonderful occassion and I hope you enjoy looking through this small selection of my favourite photos from the day.
